A few months ago I was brought to tears by seeing a story on the Nightly News. The story was about military children and their parents being deployed. The children found comfort in a flattened version of their parents while their Mom or Dad was deployed. I knew that when AJ decided to deploy again, I had to have one for the boys. They knew I had ordered one, but we thought it would still be several weeks before we got him. He arrived today and the kids were so excited! We had to all take pictures with him and send a txt message picture to AJ of him. This blog will record our adventures with our Flat Daddy. I am going to make this a project for Keegan, so he will post some of our adventures. I can't wait to see AJ's face when he gets home from WI! Oh.. and our Puggle, Duke, was freaked out by it! I am including some photos I took today of them! The boys even took one of me! You can read more about the Flat Daddy Project by going to www.flatdaddies.com and you can read stories of other families and make a donation.
